MANIPUR


Manipur, located in north-eastern India, has been a Union Territory from 1956 and full fleged state from 1972. The state has made significant advance in the field of agriculture. More than 70% of the high yielding variety of paddy is locally bred. Handloom is the biggest industry in the state, with over 3 lakh persons employed in the field.
