IndusInd Bank was started its
business in India in 1994-95 and with a successful and profitable year
of operations, it pioneered by launching Internet Banking.
In 2001-02, the Bank's business volume touched Rs. 14,000 crores and
became the highest productivity bank in the Indian banking sector. The
Bank became one of the first bank to implement the RBI - Electron Funds
Transfer Scheme.
IndusInd Bank also grabbed the opportunity of becoming first Indian
Commercial Bank to be certified ISO 9001:2000 for its 'Entire Network of
Branches'. Its first International Representative Office was opened in
Dubai. It also was crowned as one of the first banks to go live on RTGS
platform - Real Time Gross Settlement.
