State Bank of Indore was originally known as Bank of Indore Ltd. The
Bank became a subsidiary of State Bank of India on 01.01.1960 and was
renamed. It acquired business of The Bank of Dewas Ltd. in 1962 and The
Dewas Senior Bank Ltd. in 1965. It was graded 'A' class category bank in
1971. In 2003-2004 its business turnover crossed Rs. 17000 crore.

- There are a number of distinct International Banking Services of
State Bank of Indore. They are as follows:
- Correspondent banking relationship at almost all the major
centres of trans-national trade like New York, London, Frankfurt,
Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney etc.
- Nostro account in all major currencies like USD, GBP, EUR, SGD,
AUD, CHF, CAD etc.
- SWIFT connectivity in all the branches dealing in foreign
exchange / International Banking Business.
- Credits / Debits transacted in Nostro account are advised the
very next day so that the customers export transactions get credited
to its account immediately and are able to track the payment of
import transactions.
- Foreign currency denominated pre-shipment and post-shipment
credit available for exports
- "Gold Card Scheme for Exporters" launched recently
which provides for efficient credit delivery on concessional terms
for credit-worthy exporters with good track record.
- Trade credits against exports and imports on competitive terms.
Service to the Agriculture Segment
To provide financial support to the agricultural segment, State Bank of
Indore has added two schemes to its host of services. They are Indore
Bank Kisan Gold Card Scheme and Indore Bank Kisan Credit Card Scheme.
Indore Bank Kisan Gold Card Scheme
This scheme facilitates the farmers to avail hassle free term loan to
meet their necessity like purchase of agricultural implements or bullock
and carts, repair of farm machinery, land development, etc.
Under this scheme, an individual can be sanctioned a maximum loan
amount of Rs. 5 lakhs. The repayment period varies from 1 to 7 years.
Indore Bank Kisan Credit Card Scheme
This scheme provides timely support to the farmers for their
cultivation, which also includes purchase of inputs in a flexible and
cost effective manner. The card is valid for 3 years subject to yearly
review.
With this card, personal accident insurance is also provided to the
customers with a maximum coverage of Rs. 50,000/-.
